What actually happens to what you can't see?
Every day, our printing plant produces fascinating surfaces – using screen and digital printing, color, precision, and a wealth of experience. But something happens that you can't see with the naked eye:
solvents from the inks evaporate during drying.
Our new, state-of-the-art post-combustion plant tackles this challenge:
it burns the resulting exhaust air at over 300°C – and what comes out of the 16-meter-high chimney is clean air.
The process heat generated in the process is used for recovery via heat storage beds!
👉 Hardly visible from the outside, but for us, it's a huge step towards sustainability.
